GemMall.com has a good range of single, double and triple strand clasps in Sterling Silver but not in Vermeil. Why don't you check them out if it suits your requirements:

I guess all beading and jewelry-making enthusiasts go through this phase. Quality of a finding is important as it affects not just the jewel piece's quality but its appearance as well.

You can find some great bargains without losing out on the quality at www.Gemmall.com. It has a good collection of sterling beads, gemstone and glass beads, Swarovski Crystals and a good range of findings as well.

I manged to get sterling plated pendant, cap from blue moon beads and:

I find that silver-plated brass beads, etc., tarnish much more quickly than sterling silver items do. Also I buy much of my sterling silver from Artbeads.com which usually adds an anti-tarnish coating to their beads and findings so that their sterling silver holds up much better than sterling silver bought from other companies.

One of Kimmie's Creations! This a double strand bracelet I made for my best friend's 40th birthday. All the findings are sterling silver, the pink and the black bicones are swarovski crystals and the fucsia rounds are glass pearls. She requested a pink and black double to wear with her little black dress. She loved it!

Hi,

I buy my sterling silver and goldfilled findings at either Artbeads or Finedings. Both have excellent prices. Artbeads does not charge for shipping. Most of their findings have a protective coating to protect the sterling silver so the silver looks better longer.

Amethyst Necklace

This is the first time that I'm showing off my work across any forum.

This necklace has been beaded with two different colours of delicas: cranberry gold luster and crystal ivory gold luster, to enhance the amethysts I used in the piece, as well as ivory seedbeads and then the pendant I made from polymer clay that I tinted with some gold mica. The heart & arrow toggle clasp is also Sterling Silver.

It's a short necklace, that settles nicely just below the throat. Nothing heavy, but it's enough to give that luxury feeling. :)
