I am in need of expert advise. What is the best way to price my jewelry to include taxes but remain in whole $$ amounts? Don't want to bother with having to give out change.

I started a blog a few weeks ago. I added some new entries tonight. I have a few more I want to add soon. I am blogging about my work and what I offer. I also am going to blog about interesting stuff besides jewelry. I also blog about other artists work. I am currently looking for artists to feature on my blog. If you do quality work... you have a better chance of being blogged. Sorry... don't know how to put it politely. I'm very busy but try to set time aside to blog. Earring displays on screens or fabric

Hello everyone,

I sell my jewelry in a friend's salon and I've always been interested in the ideas that I've seen for displaying earrings that utilize either a screen mesh in a frame or hanging fabric. The displays look so clean and neat but does anyone have an idea of how you could put price tags on the earrings without ruining the look? My earrings are not all priced the same because it depends on the materials used so I can't just tag the display. Any ideas? I'm stumped...any help would be appreciated.

I love these pieces. Turquoise is a stone I can always count on selling well, in all seasons, to men and women!

I especially like the findings you've used in the earrings, giving them a nice bit of length and swing to flash that turquoise when the wearer turns her head!

I also like how the bracelet's turquoise dangle is a different size and shape from the ones on the main part of the bracelet.

I took the plunge; went in Mon. with all my stuff and showed it to the Arts Council people and they said that my stuff should really sell. I just needed to have more of it. I am now trying to make as much as I can between now and then. I only have a Hobby Lobby and a WalMart in town so most of my material comes from out of town, its either feast or famine at my house re: material. Right now its famine, lets hear it for expediated shipping!

craft fair- Maybe?

I've been beading for several years off & on, just recently on a lot. I think I have a lot of items and am thinking of selling at our local craft fair the weekend before Thanksgiving. It's $90 for an 8' x 10' space, which I can swing. Trouble is I don't know if I really do have enough items and if I should have more than 1 of the pieces I do have. Any words of wisdom out there?
