These are great!

 I realized that part of the problem was that I had placed some of the crimps too close to the bends in the crinkle wire, maybe right on a bend. That made a very pronounced angle instead of a crinkle. I remade 1 strand and laid out the necklace. I think it would hang OK, but I didn't get it connected. This is the 1st multi-strand necklace ...

 Has anyone made this?  I've only completed 2 of the 3 strands.  When I hold them up, they don't lay the way I expect them to - the weight of the larger beads seems to pull the strands down. I plan to finish this evening - I'll see how it looks then.

I've noticed that the video quality varies quite a bit from one to another.   I think that most of those from Amy's Beads are pretty clear.  Also, your local library probably has books on basic technique.  Perhaps the combination of book and video will help.
