The JEWELS of AFRICA are their sparkling orchids, from distinctive growth habits and floriferous nature and are among the angraecoid orchids of both Africa and Madagascar.
Orchids are the most diverse group of flowering plants with over 18,000 species, representing about 8 percent of all flowering plants found worldwide. Many of these species are endemic to microhabitats like the Guyana Shield and are very rare.
There is a variety of very beautiful and endangered orchids growing in Africa. Madagascar and islands near by are famous for the diversity of species.
Madagascar is particularly rich in orchids, and many of them unique to the island.

The beautiful Bracelet was inspired by the Orchid Jungles in Madagascar, east of Africa.
