About Cindy Sweet

I am a novice beader with an avid addiction to acquiring more beads than I can manage to use at this time in my life! I live in Allegany County, Western New York about 90 miles south of Buffalo and about 100 miles south and west of Rochester. Being rural we have very limited purchase options or class options --- so I get most of my stuff online. I am eager to attend a bead show soon, just to get a feeling for the vibe of the community and to get some cool wares. I love beading and am eager to feel confident enough to get out of the box and do more than simple stringing, such as try some off loom beading. I would love to hear from anyone with helpful hints or stories.... By the way, my life distractions include being an ER nurse in a small community hospital on the nite shift (11-7), mother of 3 (1 left the nest, 1 soon to leave the nest and a 15 year old I will be attempting homeschooling with this year), a husband who is very loving and understanding, a chocolate lab named George (short for Gorgeous Curious George) and a rottweiler named Dozer (aptly named and short for Bulldozer), an orange, fluffy tiger cat named Tuffy, a fish tank, aging parents, house and yard work.......does this sound like anyone else's lives?????? What I seek most is balance and I certainly don't have that one mastered yet!
