B.A. in Art, 1987 University of Alabama Focus in printmaking, photography (especially B&W darkroom processes), and sculpture Since graduation, have mostly worked in textiles, including art quilts and traditional quiltmaking, custom couture, plus knitting and crochet; digital photography and digital painting, using software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Painter, Maya, and others; graphic design, both analog and digital, including logo design, banners, etc.; since 2001, have worked in OOAK artisan jewelry, including beading, wirework, metalwork, and polymer clay. Disabled since 1997, able to work during remissions. Currently selling work online, on Etsy, as "heronmoon", through word-of-mouth, and at regional arts/crafts shows and festivals. Living my studio in the Tuscan Village on Main Street in historic Lower Lake, with Tiki the Siamese cat.
