Does anyone know where to buy wholesale or cheap either raw brass or oxidized brass/copper/silver open back prong settings in the sizes of 18x13mm, 25x18mm, 10x8mm and 14x10mm. i've searched the web and am having a really hard time finding anything at all besides the website vintagejewelrysupplies.com but they dont have enough items in stock for my needs......

Any ideas anyone???

last week i had a customer who wanted a pair of unique earrings to match with a necklace that she bought from me. so i remembered that i've wanted to try wire wrapping for so long so tadaaaa... here's the result. what u'all think?

JiaSha Knotting

I started to work out on the new design since September, and would like to share how the design evolved. :D

This was the very first attempt, made of 24ga soft wires as a core and 28ga wires for coiling.

And then I made it into earrings, attaching all my lucky colors - yes you guessed it right, I keep all my designs when I first made them into success. :)

And then, made the design into silver - I am sure the owner loved the white JiaSha.

Then bookmark (and later the owner sent me a picture of how she was using it, so please excuse me for the non-standardized image size - she wasn't using wide angle's lens.):

Finally moved on finalizing the measurement for JiaSha Pendant project. Still with 24ga and 28ga soft wires, and an Amethyst briolette.

Of course, later, a pair of matching earrings, they are in same size with the pendant...

And a pair of it with garnets:

Then recently tried leaving the JiaSha knot unclosed, and make it go with a huge Smooth Amethyst stone.

and now...

I am still exploring what can I do with JiaSha knotting. I do have an idea now with it's action plan, I will update this post again once I got it worked out. Meanwhile, I hope you enjoyed reading this post!

The remembered autumns from my childhood. Dry brown leaves crunching underfoot, green acorns with bronze caps growing plump on the oak trees and bright red berries.

Used a distressed finished brass focal, czech glass beads, coral beads, bronzite, bronze glass pearls, a vintage lucite cone and silk ribbon.

The first necklace is made with different pieces of red coral with a stelring silver red coral pendant. The 2nd is a 36" long necklace set with 3 strands of seed beads & bugles going into a single strand bead. Just a few things that I have made for a show I will be doing this month. Last year I tried my hand at resin. Resin and I didn't get along. I used the Castin Craft which was hard to get just right. It was flat out hard to use. Time has gone by and we parted our ways. I went to a craft show a few weeks ago and saw some neat resin work. I was told Envirotex Lite was the way to go. Well... I gave it a shot and it is wonderful! Easy to use and very fun to work with now. I made 42 pendants my first go! They turned out great! Anyway... here are a few of my favorite. I'm now adding resin to the list of mediums I now work with.

I used Aqua Terra Jasper stones with clear rondelle crystals and Swarovski Indian Sapphire cystals for this bracelet. The Aqua Terra is such a beautiful stone. I loved working with it and plan on doing more with this stone. Thanks for looking...

Everybody who posts here is SO talented!!! Can anybody give me some feedback on my Etsy site? I basically have 3 types of photos; the first type I took when I opened the shop which were in doors (candle pics), then I tried outdoors in natural light which I think are cute but then I made a light box last week and those are the ones you see with the lady with the pierced ear and the white background with words.

I am wondering if you think I should leave all the different types of photos or make it "neater" and take the same types of pics of all my pieces.

this one is made of Onyx and Jasper, I like other forms than round very much

this is made of coral and sweerwater pearls

I know the pictures are not that good, but it's the best I get them.
