    Beading Software

I'm looking for a beading software program for creating patterns.  I'd like to scan pictures to make beaded tapestry/quilts.  My husband is retiring from the Navy and I'd like to make a tapestry from all his Navy patches.  I've tried to do a internet search but I'd like to hear some feedback on what is actually working for beaders.  Thank you so much

    Re: Beading Software

My favorite is BeadTool ( www.beadtool.net ). I have tried many others and this one is the most intuitive. Comes complete with a slew of pallets for the Delicas and other beads. Easy to make your own pallets as well. There is a Mac and PC version. Both platforms have worked well for me though my platform now is entirely Mac. It is only $35 and has been worth every penny. Their product support is wonderful. Tutorials on line are great. Very Good documentation.

And to be sure if it will handle the work you want it to do, just check out the Gallery on the website.

Simply, you cannot go wrong especially with the price.
