Hello Everyone,

I guess this is my first "show us your work" post, but I've been around here for a while. 

Working in a souvenir shop that is located in an indian reservation, I can't help being influenced by the indian-style jewelry,  I picked up the use of bone hairpipe from them and I kind of give it a twist using sterling silver, copper and/or brass with semi-precious stones and/or swarovski crystals.  The Cherokee use a lot of silver plated and czech glass beads (mainly seed, tile and crow beads).

I would like to know your opinion on which of these two necklaces the pendant looks the best. Both are formed with Moukaite, Solid Brass and Carved Bone. The Eni-style donut shape pendant is wrapped with brass wire and the stone is also Moukaite.

 (Sorry, "Mustard" is not quite finished)

All opinions are greatly appreciated!!

Ooohh..Those are pretty. I love how the donut pendant is wrapped.

I like the color combination on Rainbow. :) 

I like Rainbow as well.  The pinkish beads above the yellow pendant are a nice contrast, and keep a good balance between all the yellow.  In the second necklace there is too much yellow, making the beautiful pendant seem more a part of the necklace than a pendant--if that makes sense.

Alice, I thought the same after I finish the "Rainbow" one, but I was sort of challenged by the "boss" so I  put "Mustard" together,  so far  "Rainbow" is in the lead. I have another Moukite donut with the pinkish-burgandy-cream color I'm thinking of wrapping it and put it on Rainbow and leaving this pendant on Mustard. 

Danica, did you get to see both necklaces? I don't know what happened with the post earlier that it was just showing the larger picture. Which one do you think is the best for the pendant?  Thank you much.

Again thank you all for the comments, I decided to leave the pendant on the Rainbow necklace..  I have not decided if I'm letting "Mustard" live or take it apart, I'll let you know when I decide.

I still have not done anything with the "Mustard" one, I took half of it apart to get the pendant out and put it in a bag. I might just finish it without a pendant.. We'll see what happens later!!  There was only one pendant for both necklaces.
