    Czech picasso gemstone donut beads!!!

okay - here's the deal - i would love to create something with these beautiful opaque faceted beads, but i'm killing myself trying to find the "best" wholesale source for these....I say wholesale, because I don't think buying a handful of beads (25-50) is considered wholesale, but I'm not interested in buying a boatload as well......any help would be gladly appreciated.

     I'm confused!

Czech makes glass beads. Gemstones are usually not glass. Many currently popular glass donuts are from CHina. Please post a picture of what yo are trying to find.

    Hi pkoexchger!

Czech picasso beads are glass, not gemstone. Some sources I found include:

    Aunties Beads

    Artbeads.com

    The Beadin' Path

    I hope this helps!

I think you are describing Czech glass rondelles, picasso style

If so, try www.fusionbeads.com or www.red-garnet.com

Both of these stores are local to me and I know they have czech glass.

    Hope this helps

they are czech glass, but described as gemstone donut beads - the picasso refers to the finish on the bead, which makes them look more like a natural semi-precious gemstone - but they are glass beads....

    thanks.

thanks - i had already been given a lead to look at fusion beads, and kind of found some of what i'm looking for; i was just trying to find a more "wholesale" source, without having to buy 300 beads of the same color to get a price break, etc...

i will check out the other site you suggested too!  thank again, p

thanks - i know they are glass, but because of the picasso definition, they resemble gemstone striations, etc....

i did get a few contacts to check out - fusionbeads.com and yorkbeads.com   in case you wanted to see what i'm talking about...

    thanks again!

For wholesale pricing, Nirvana beads, $100 min order and you need to register with sales tax ID or check ModeBeads, $200 min and registration required.

For a wonderful selection of Czech beads at retail check out www.gr8beads.com she also has a huge ebay store. Also check www.purebeads.com for a nice selection of beads at good prices
