In case anyone else is seeing this or if it is just me, almost half the time I load the forum or a section of it all I get is the surrounding site, the forum stops loading and I get this:

 I either have to click one of the links or reload the page.

 This is one Firefox, latest version on a Windows XP machine.

I'm glad it's not just me! I have to scroll way down toward the bottom of the page to get the thread.

 Sometimes. Not always. Drives me crazy.

I had this problem earlier in the day, using an older computer.  I always had to scroll down to the bottom of the page to find the posts.  On a newer computer, Windows vista and newest version of explorer, everything seems fine.  I dont know if its the versions we use or if it is just tempermental??

Hopefully in due time it will all be adjusted to work for all of us.

One of our other moderators related this question to our Online department. They said that it's usually a matter of your browser being incompatible with our forum software. They said that if you are on a PC, you should use Internet Explorer 7 or Firefox. If you're on a Mac, you should use Firefox.

Marie, I see that you were using Firefox when you had this issue. Is it still happening, or has your computer adjusted? If it's still happening, please let me know and I will try to contact our Online department about it.

 Hi Lindsay!

This problem is definitely still happening. I just got it now when I started to edit this note.  Had to click refresh to bring up the rest of the screen. I think it is happening MORE often lately that it did at first. The top of the frame stops just under the scalloped top border, leaving part of the BeadStyleForum words showing. The stuff on the right side shows fine as in Marie's screen shot.

I get this problem with Win 2K and latest Firefox browser.It also happens on another machine running XP home and latest Firefox. It happens almost every time I click on section name at top or bottom of thread. If I click refresh the page usually comes up the first time I click refresh.

It is very common for this to happen in both the B&B and BeadStyle forums. It's one of the issues that slows down my use of the forum. 

Another issue worth mentioning is when I move from one forum to another. Even though the upper right hand shows a welcome Russ Nobbs, the main frame wants me to log in to post.I have to log out and log in to post. Logging in takes me back to a main page outside the forums so I have to move to the forums. Just another annoyance that wastes time for the usee.

I am using Firefox on a Dell PC running Windows XP.  However, this isn't the only web site it happens with.  I have problems viewing Amazon, Lane Bryant and a couple of others, too.  With this site, I just hit the reload button and the page comes up.  With Amazon, sometimes it takes dozens of reloads before the site will come up (well, actually not the site itself - the problem is when I click on a book to read the description) and with Lane Bryant, the pictures of the items don't load, and since they are the links to the product descriptions I cannot shop on that site.

For this forum, it's just a minor inconvenience.  But I am curious to know why, if I am using Firefox, it is happening to me.  Hmmm....
