It was either an issue of Bead Style or Stringing Magazine that featured a pendant that had tiny clock gears and such and I can not remember the name of the bead store that carries them, does anyone remember or know the name of the bead store?

 I don't, but have you thought about going to your local antique shop and picking up an old watch? There are lots that you could take apart for the parts, and it wouldn't cost much. There are certain antique watches that do cost a pretty penny, but not all. It's worth a shot - I used to have a booth in an antique shop and saw plenty for cheap.
