    Rethinking How To Teach Color

    Rethinking How To Teach Color

At The Center for Beadwork & Jewelry Arts in Nashville, Tennessee, we teach from what's called a design perspective.   We've been working on a book called How To Bead A Rogue Elephant, which goes through the whole design process.     We recently finished the draft chapter on color called "Rethinking How To Teach Color To Beaders and Jewelry Designers".

We've posted a .pdf copy here:

    We welcome any feedback.

Re: Rethinking How To Teach Color

just finished reading this. great article, thanks for posting it. i'm thinking a rogue elephant wants to blend in and stand out - mine would be browns and greens with a splash of orange. really, that's three colors i'm going to work with after reading your article. thanks again.
