I am looking jewelry-making books on all aspects of the craft. Seed Beads, Wire Working, Pearls, General, Crystal, etc. Does anyone have any recommendations? I read the reviews on Amazon but I am never too sure of those so I figured I would ask here.

I have quite a few beading books and I have to honestly admit, none of them have blown me away.  I will give a kudos to the books sold on this forum.  I own "Bead Journey" and it's one of my favorites.  Once I knew what I was doing with the beading and progressed from my "Beading 101" book, which I got from Michaels and loved it, I find that I rarely have to look at books for ideas.  Luckily, I seem to be able to dream up original ideas just by looking at my beads and playing with them on my bead board.  Hope I helped.

 what i did was check with my local library to see what they had.  one way to get a hands on free preview.  LBS have beading books and you can at least look thru them before you buy.
