Saturday, March 28 (1:30pm-5:30pm) $65 [plus $12 kit fee]
Learn how to create instant image transfers to polymer clay with both pre-printed and customer images. In this class you'll turn these transfers into the illusion of postage stamps and give the finished pendant a glass-like finish with Magical resin. All skill levels welcome.
Bezel Set Collage Pendants by Lisa Pavelka
Sunday, March 29 (1:30pm-5:30pm) $65 [plus $28 kit fee]
Learn how to turn a bezel setting into a miniature collage. We’ll create 1-2 finished pendants with mixed media applications of polymer clay, image transfer and a variety of embellishments. Learn decorative surface treatments for clay with foils, powders and inks. All skill levels welcome.
Coming off the very successful Bead Away – Hawaii that involved a weekend of beading workshops, and social time, now comes Bead Away – Las Vegas and we all know "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas."
Bead Away – Las Vegas will take place Thursday, March 27 through Sunday, March 29, 2009. The event takes place at the Alexis Park Resort which is located just off the strip but easy to get to all the entertainment.
Bead Away – Las Vegas will officially kick-off with a “Meet the Teacher Reception” sponsored by Art Clay World, USA, on Thursday, March 26, 2009. The attendees will get to mingle with fellow beaders and rub shoulders with the events instructors.
