Thick, black, stretch cord for bracelets and watches

I've been asked to repair my Aunt's jewelry.  She has some bracelets strung on stretchy cord and the cord needs to be replaced.  It's very thick and almost looks cottony.  I tried getting Stretch Magic/Power Cord and it's not at all a good substitute.  The cord is way too thin and the bracelets don't look right strung on it.  The beads themselves are not that large (8mm) clay beads with large openings (probaby 2mm).  I think I need a 1.0mm or 1.5mm cotton stretch cord.  The cottony look as opposed to a plastic/rubber look is preferrable.  But I can't find that anywhere.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?  Know anywhere I can find such a product?  Have any other products to recommend?

I think the original bracelts are "SheBeads" bracelets if that helps at all.

    Thanks!

In case anyone is curious, I found the cord here:

It's perfect for what I need.

    Hi jct,

Thanks for the info. I'm curious as to how the bracelet is finished with this cord. Does it have crimps or is it just knotted?  Will you please let us know. Thanks.

It turns out that I couldn't finish the bracelet with the 2mm cord.  It was too thick.  The original bracelets were knotted with the knot tucked into one of the beads to hide it.  When I went down to a 1mm cord it was just fine.  I made a knot and tucked it into a bead.  I might go back and add a dab of glue on top of the knot just to be safe.  It couldn't hurt.  I'm fairly certain the original bracelet had 2mm cord, but for the life of me I couldn't make a small enough knot to fit inside a bead.  I like the look of the 2mm cord better, but unless you have them side by side, I think the 1mm cord will be just fine.
