    Assembling Bead Kits

Hi all ! Last year I had a great time putting together bead kits and selling them to my customers who like to bead themselves. I just put the selected beads, spacers etc in baggies along with a picture of the finished item.I'am thinking I may sell even more if I maybe included basic beading instruction sheet or something along those lines?Just looking for ways to maybe "punch" my kits up a bit.

Do any of you fellow beaders make kits or have any ideas on kit making? Gives me some ideas! Thanks!

    Re: Assembling Bead Kits

When I design and compile beading kits, they are "complete" - meaning I always include illustrated instruction sheets and ALL materials - except tools (if required) to complete the project.

    Hope this helps...

Today I received a newsletter from Tammy Powley from About.com. She describes how she writes about jewelry making and she also describes how she puts her kits together. Here's the Kit making link. I hope that link works. I also make kits and it's a lot of work. I include the crimps and wire and all the beads, findings, etc. I also make an instruction sheet with extra sheets describing how to use a crimper, make simple loops, make wrapped loops, etc. All of this is on the computer and is ready to be used as needed. I don't include tools either.
