Bead&Button Show demo ideas

Here at the magazine -— and all over the company — we're beginning Bead&Button Show prep in earnest. We've all signed up for the classes we're taking and getting organized for the classes we're teaching. We're meeting to organize the Bead Social (lots of new ideas!) and spice up the live and silent auctions to raise as much money for breast cancer research as possible.

One thing we're looking for now is a new idea (or two) for the editors' demos on the marketplace show floor. It's got to be relatively quick, but we'd still like to be demonstrating thing that people want to know about. Last year we made simple earrings - really fun and people got some good tips on plain and wrapped loops. Should we stick with that or do something new? Or maybe that AND something else?

What would you like to see? What great things have you seen at other shows or bead shops?

How about finishing tips for necklaces/bracelets? Like using wire guardians, or knots to finish a suede necklace. I'm sure a lot of people would love to see those.

Great idea - I think you're right - that's where we get a  lot of questions.
