Turn greeting cards into jewelry gift boxes

 

In our soon-to-be-available special publication Beading 101 and Beyond  we talk about (among many other things) ways to package your creation for giving or selling. One of the budget- and eco-friendly options included is the greeting card gift box. I’m guessing most of us have made these at one time of another, but if not, here are the basic instructions we promised in Beading 101.

 


 

 

 

 

 

 

Reading these direction, it probably seems like there’d be fewer steps to build an atomic bomb, but this is really easy to do – just not easy to explain in print. Maybe we should do a video and post it on the site. Our video goddess is in California at the moment – I’ll talk to her when I get back. In the meantime – good luck!

    I did it, I DID IT! Thanks for the tutorial, I made a perfect little box out of scrap paper and a colorful mini version using a subscription card that comes in our magazine. I can't wait to try it on a real card!
