Today, I got a sneak peek of our November 2008 issue, which hits newsstands and magazine racks September 30. I've been anxious to see the final product because, in this issue, I worked with jewelry makers Sue Godfrey and Katherine Schwartzenberger to recreate and write about their designs. It was my first time playing that role, and I had a blast! Both women gave me useful information about where they bought their beads, how much the materials cost, and where they got their inspiration. I also got to ask them fun questions about themselves to write a short biography.
