August 15 Jewelry Gems of the Web

Another lovely week here in southeastern Wisconsin. My laundry is all caught up, thanks to the DIY dryer repair I blogged about last week. My car, however, is still being parked in the driveway--who knew that a 1920s house would also have an old garage that requires a special-order garage door!? Perhaps sometime next week, my Wrangler will once-again spend its off-time relaxing indoors. (My Jeep has lots of off-time these days, as some co-workers and I are doing our best to help the environment and our own bank accounts by carpooling from the east side of Milwaukee to our west side office.)

Speaking of our office, our parent company decided to take a corporate picture to use in our 75th anniversary celebration materials. The corporate site was also redesigned--check it out at www.Kalmbach.com. While we had staff and cameras outdoors, the BeadStyle staff had an informal picture taken. Naomi blogged about it and the jewelry adorning the staffers.

Speaking of blogs, while you're enjoying a lovely weekend, why not check out these jewelry gems of the web? And while you're at it, be sure to give a special welcome to Carmi Cimicata, one of my newest blog buddies (the image above is from Carmi's site)!
