I'm sure everybody knows Tammy Powley. Tammy has an extensive background in writing for the web
and has been About.com’s Guide to Jewelry Making since 1989. She has also, I'm happy to say, contributed to BeadStyle. She also works full-time as a college English
professor and is the author of numerous jewelry-making books. (wow!)
Tammy was nice enough to send the BeadStyleMag.com community a free download from her book, Picture Yourself Creating Metal Clay Jewelry.
Picture Yourself shows novice metal clay artists how to create unique wearable works of art, from concept to completion. The book also includes a 45+ minute DVD where Tammy demonstrates two bonus projects, talks about some of the tools and techniques. The book includes all the necessary basics of metal clay as well as fourteen hands-on jewelry projects.
What could be better for BeadStyle fans looking for a new skill to add to their creative repertoire? Check out the free download. If you're intrigued (as I was) click here for more information about the book.
