French Bullion Wire is a tightly wound wire coil that's sometimes used at the ends of necklaces or bracelets to give them a more finished look. It also protects the beading wire from tearing. It's used like a Wire Guardian. You can read more about it in Use French Wire by Paula S. Morgan. My friend, Jill from Art Jewelry Magazine gave me this package of vintage bullion angel hair. It's the coolest stuff, but I'm at a loss as to what to do with it. Does anybody out there have any suggestions?
