Here at BeadStyle, we love our pets. On my personal blog, I like to write about the antics of Ginger, my 15-year-old shepherd mix. She has tried to eat an E6000 cap and once brought my dad a Ziploc of beads instead of her toy, but mostly she stays out of my beading business. These last couple of weeks, I've made heart earrings sitting in front of my TV (by the way, I've finished 36 pairs. Done, finally!). Ginger sniffed around then promptly fell asleep when she realized there was nothing edible in my pile of beads and chain. Making jewelry must be relaxing.
Ginger has trouble with other dogs (she's very alpha), but I am thinking about adopting Storm, a small lab mix. Storm seems like a sweet, friendly girl who's also respectful of other dogs. A match made in heaven?
Anyway, do any of you have two (or more) dogs in your household? And if so, do they keep you company while you bead? Or do they try to eat your supplies?
