When I was in New York, I met Suzanne Kalan and saw her collection of gemstone jewelry. Even though it seems trite to say a designer is "good with color," she truly merits the compliment. Not only does she make wire-wrapped hoop earrings in a range of sizes, she also has a great eye for what size beads work best on each hoop.
