Seeds of Creativity

I received an e-mail from Jenn. So, I thought I'd share a bit of information about the Amorpha Organization. It sounds pretty nifty.

The Amorpha Organization for the Arts Inc. is a non-profit organization. Their goal is to expand arts education and experience in and outside of public schools. Their latest venture is the Seeds of Creativity Program. One aspect of this program is providing workshops and presentations targeting students in underserved areas. They will also raise money for arts programs and projects within Milwaukee Public Schools.
Here are a few details: At the beginning of every month, names will be exchanged and they will be working on the monthly project. The theme for January is collage, and February is fabric. At the end of each month, they will have a swap night, and finished work will be given to the individual whose name you have chosen. Their guidelines are loose. They just want to make art and meet people.
