Five days before Christmas and I still have a few jewelry gifts to make, but otherwise I'm in surprisingly good shape.

Once the rush is over and I get a few vacation days to rub together, I start thinking about things I'd like to improve in the year personally and professionally. Id like to spend less time organizing and more time creating. Ironically, to make that happen I have to get more organized.

 I've always said if I could get a month off just to organize things, the rest of my life would be smooth sailing. Since this seems unlikely, I've decided to chip away at the  situation in 15-minute pieces. I rarely have 3-4 free to clean up all my home (or office) paperwork. But I always have one or two 15-minute chunks of time during the day to go through a folder or two, one drawer, or a box of beads.
 

For now, however, I'm going to finish making some earrings and enjoy the Christmas season. I hope you and your families do the same.
