We hear you!!

A couple of weeks ago, I asked e-newsletter readers if they'd like to see pricing information with future BeadStyle projects. The response was overwhelming. First of all, thank you so much for taking the time to offer such great, thoughtful suggestions.

We received quite a variety of ideas, so we're scheduling a meeting right after the holidays to figure out what we're going to do. Whatever that it, it will appear first in the June/July issue (March is done and May is well in the works). In the meantime, any addition ideas are always welcome. What kind — and how much — information would be useful for you?

Pricing is tricky. I sell a lot of my jewelry. One comment is that I don't charge enough - I used to set prices at 3 times my cost - now I charge 4 times my cost and have had no complaints. But I still have people say I don't charge enough. I expalin that since I don't have a retail store, employees, insurance, etc.  I can still make a profit and they pay a good price. But what really stops them in their tracks is saying  - "if  you don't think I am charging you enough, you are welcome to pay me more! " They get real quiet after that and just smile and pay up..

I love your answer!. My friend Tia hears the same thing all the time and she says she never knows what to say. I'll have to pass this along.
