Today I ( with the able assistance of Naomi, Jane and Lindsay) taught a big group of Brownies how to make my new favorite bracelet (a variation of the one on the January BeadStyle cover). They all did a great job, had a nice time, and there are 24 more beautiful bracelets in the world. But not one of those facts made me smile as much as: • After I passed out sample issues of BeadStyle, one Brownie told me sweetly that IF I had been famous, I could have autographed the magazines. * Another Brownie sat perusing the magazine with the poise I hope to have when I grow up. She looked up and told us that there were too may ads.
