OK, this is totally self-serving, but two of the coolest publications I've seen in a while both officially hit the newsstand today and I'm pretty excited. I'm partial to 365 Earrings cause I made about 90 of them. Since I've already dispensed with all pretense of modesty, I can say I'm really proud of all 365 of them. Kudos to fellow BeadStyle staffers Naomi, Jane, and Lindsay for all the hard work and thanks to our outside contributors (including Bead&Button's Anna Elizabeth Draeger) for their creativity.

The second cool pub is Make it Mine, a brand new magazine about embellishing clothes, accessories, and home decor. Editor Linda Augsburger and her fellow Miners (including BeadStyle's Jane Konkel!) did a fabulous job. Mine is already sprouting a crop of Post-it flags marking things I want to try.

Both are full of gift-making ideas for projects that don't take much of the time that is flying by as we speak.

Can you tell I'm in pre-holiday panic mode already?
