Jewel tones

Lately I've been pouring my creativity into redesigning my bedroom. After reading up on feng shui and Moroccan design, I painted the walls a deep fuchsia and got a garnet-colored velvet duvet cover. Now, I'm hunting for gold, amethyst, and turquoise accents (pillows, vases, picture frames, etc.). Incidentally, my bedroom palette is remarkably similar to my jewelry palette; my jewelry and gemstone choices inform my general decorating sensibilities, too. Though I'm confident about scale and proportion and color when I design jewelry, I'm much less so about decorating. So sticking with the jewelry colors and applying them in a broader way makes the bedroom overhaul seem do-able.

    Wow sounds beautiful!

I tend to steer towards turquoise and topaz and yep! You guessed it so is my bedroom :) Deep tesls and chocolate browns with a dabble of chartreus AKA peridot. "now please move along."

    Do you have pics?

I'm not finished with my redesign yet, but you can see an updated photo:

I like your color combinations. They seem tropical, but I like the chocolate browns to make the colors work year-round. Plus, blue and brown are always great together!
